£100m generated by Virgin Money app launch in first 6 weeks

Virgin Money’s relaunched Mortgage platform has generated over £100m net new business in it’s first 6 weeks of launch. Last year I worked closely with the team up in Newcastle and their technology platform provider to launch a user-centric design & technology programme which has so far been a run away success.

Virgin Money provides mortgage products through 15,000 independent intermediaries. To service this audience, Virgin Money has several digital properties and apps.

As part of an ongoing UX design project in their Mortgage Lab, I conducted user and market research, talked directly with the brokers and compiled an in-depth suite of recommendations.

It’s early days, but the first phased iteration has been put in front of users, adoption is high and the results are smashing expectations.
