Artist Film Series
AUDEMARS PIGUET
Audemars Piguet wanted to increase awareness of their patronage of the arts, particularly their association with audio-visual artist and composer, Ryoji Ikeda.
Our first film brings to life Ryoji Ikeda’s mind-bending work with human data.
“We humans stand in the middle, between the microscopic and the macroscopic” – Ryoji Ikeda
The second film celebrates the Beyond Watchmaking exhibition in Tokyo, that acts as both a brand experience, and as a platform for contemporary art.
“Watchmaking is art in itself. All watchmakers are artists. It has been there for the beginning of the company” – Olivia Giuntini
The third film introduces the work of Ryoji Ikeda, Dan Holdsworth and Alexandre Joly.
“In my installations what I really like is this mix between natural sound and the sound from the watch. It’s like a live organism. It could be nature but it’s not.” – Alexandre Joly
The films lived across The New York Times online ecosystm and social channels.
